ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Sierra Downs is a boutique family-run breeding farm that is focused on breeding FEI-quality prospects with the temperament, conformation, and gaits for longevity and excellence in sport. Our young stock is handled routinely to build strong foundational skills. Older stock is professionally developed for sport, and retained mares are prepared for a breeding career.
The SDSF Breeding Program was founded in 2008 by Lynn & Natalie Masin, currently producing 2 - 5 sporthorse prospects each year. Though our foals are largely available for sale, our young horses are typically retained through their initial start under saddle to support and assess their early physical development and provide adequate preparation for a long and successful sport career.
