ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Sierra Downs is a boutique family-run breeding farm that is focused on breeding FEI-quality prospects with the temperament, conformation, and gaits for longevity and excellence in sport. Our young stock is handled routinely to build strong foundational skills. Older stock is professionally developed for sport, and retained mares are prepared for a breeding career.
The SDSF Breeding Program was founded in 2007 by Lynn & Natalie Masin, currently producing 2 - 4 sporthorse prospects each year. Though our foals are available, our young horses are typically retained through their initial start under saddle to ensure proper physical development and adequate preparation for a long and successful sport career.

SDSF is supported by professionals that are critical to our success, including Dr. Matt Randall and Dr. Sophie Christilles of Collier Equine Veterinary Services, John Mason of Tex-Over Farms (professional training and handling), Aaron Register and Doug Hogue (farrier), Abby Share of EquiFitness (equine bodywork and human fitness), and James Cauvel of DC Ranch Services (facilities), among many others, including our dear family and friends who support us in showing and caring for these special equine athletes.
