Often times protocols are established and enforced after a tragic incident. In this lecture, you will learn how to prepare your facility before a critical situation with a structured Emergency Action Plan specifically tailored to the needs of an equestrian facility.

Dr. Andrew Shea is a Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with an extensive background in sports medicine, physical therapy, and training through his college and post graduate careers and education. He also has a unique background working with equestrian athletes, particularly NFR qualifying and PRCA athletes. His experience includes training and treating all levels of athletes from youth to professional.

Dr. Abby Share is a Physical Therapist, Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist, Certified Equine Massage Therapist, and Certified Equine Rehabilitation Therapist. She has had a passion for horses her entire life learning and competing in multiple different equestrian sports, from schooling shows to rodeo. Dr. Share has brought her passion for horses and healing together to form her company EquiFitness, which focuses on the overall wellness of both horse and rider as a team.

John has been the head trainer at Tex-Over Farms in Conroe, Texas, since 2013.  He is a licensed Bereiter, USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, US Dressage Finals Champion at Training Level Open and Reserve Champion at First Level Open, and has received Houston Dressage Society’s year-end awards at every level from Training to Intermediare I.
